Rube

Rube Goldberg machines are meticulous ways of completing tasks that would otherwise be simple. In this game you take control of physics puzzles using only the objects you find around the house, with more rooms opening up as you solve puzzles. A high variety mechanics and objects give every puzzle an endless number of solutions and approaches, the only limit is one's creativity.

GMTK Game Jam 2024

This was my first year completing a Game Jam solo, as my brother is going to be out for college.

IMPORTANT GAMEPLAY NOTES:

- The buttons to start puzzles cannot be pressed if there is detected motion in the puzzle area! (This includes fans)

-Ignore the screenshot of puzzle 2! This is not a solution!

-The white ball in a puzzle is the only thing that needs to reach the exit

-Puzzle 8 is bugged & really hard. The area that locks item interaction is not adjusted, so you should use this to your advantage and press the blue button with a held item. 

- IF YOU NOCLIP OUT OF BOUNDS (do not walk down under the stairs) Alt-F4 the game, the Save&Quit only saves position, puzzles save as you solve them during gameplay.
